What I’m eyeing, buying, trying, frying, and styling this week!

outfit details

EYING: I am such an avid reader with a pretty long list of books waiting for me at the moment, so I don’t need to be eying more books… yet here I am!! I teared up as I got ready to send this book to a friend and they texted me just before I sent the message. It felt like a Divine nudge that the timing was so synchronous. It’s one of my all-time favorites and top book recommendations, so I was asking if they’d ever read it, since I was thinking of reading it for a second time! For me, books always hit deeper the second time around, and I think self-sabotage is one of the most under-recognized ways we keep ourselves stuck.

I am currently listening to “The Vortex”, which is great, and finishing reading “A Return to Love”, which I am really enjoying (as someone who had trouble getting through the well-rated “A Course in Miracles”). Also in my queue is “Raising Conscious Sons”.

BUYING: I just bought these barrel jeans. I had a bad experience with rigid barrel jeans that I felt ballooned on me, but I heard great things about this pair and the reviews are good, so I will report back!

TRYING: Trying my hand at a few more crafts! Fun fact: I was the director of a sleepaway arts and crafts camp on Cape Cod in college. I collected my own shells (twice, see Cam helping me collect a second round) to cover this wall shelf I am hanging in our bathroom. It sounds funny as I type it, to bedazzle over-the-toilet decor.

FRYING: Last week I mentioned I was growing sprouts again! This week I “harvested”! I put them over these zucchini sandwich rounds (I find them more similar to an egg wrap texture) topped with smashed avocado, bacon, and chili oil. So good!

I also made these easy, high-protein breakfast bites! They throw together pretty fast with only ½ cup of flour for all of these. We had plenty to reheat for tomorrow’s breakfast.

STYLING: I am really loving the Western trend. I recently got these boots, this necklace, this belt, and just ordered this cardigan that all make me feel like I’m ready to step onto the set of Yellowstone.

What book is on your nightstand right now? I’m always adding to the list!
