It’s been a while since I’ve updated my favorite neutral paint colors. While I am guilty of using Benjamin Moore’s Decorators White most often these days, I have also used many shades of grey, greige, and beige. Sharing photos and details in this post of some of my favorite neutral paint colors incase you’re in the midst of a bedroom or home makeover!
If you are looking to try paint samples in your home which I ALWAYS recommend I use a service called Samplize where you can order hand painted, larger peel and stick paint samples to put on your wall. It makes a huge difference over the tiny paint swatches. I tape my samples to the wall since I reuse them with all the renovations we do.
Decorator’s White is an almost-pure white with a cool gray undertone. It’s a versatile shade that can be used for rooms, trim, and ceilings. For that reason we used it on the walls in our most recent renovation here in Florida. This small studio needed a color that would brighten the space and look good with neutrals layered on top. You can shop our studio in this blog post as well as find a link to how to stay!
Benjamin Moore Calm is a VERY light gray, it looks almost white until you see the contrast between the white trim and the “Calm” wall color. I had used Calm in a previous bedroom and in our Connecticut living room and kitchen. Our kitchen cabinets are standard paint colors by the cabinet maker, you can check out more photos of our kitchen renovation in this blog post. Shop My Conecticut Living Room
We used Benjamin Moore Sheep’s Wool in a guest bedroom in a previous home. It’s an optic white with cool blue-gray undertones that can complement both modern and traditional decor. I find this color to be similar to Benjamin Moore Classic Gray which we have on the outside of our current home and have used that color inside and out! Sharing an image of our front porch below that has Benjamin Moore Classic Gray with Sherwin Williams Snowbound trim. Shop this guest room
I’d love to hear some of your favorite neutral paint colors or if you’ve any of these and love them as much as I do!
