With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I grabbed my favorite gal for a little pre-Galentine’s Day celebrating. We tried out essie’s new Valentine’s Day 2019 nail polish collection (available at Target). Jane, my mother in law, is always up for some fun – especially when it involves shopping or pampering ourselves.
Do you celebrate Galentine’s Day? It’s the day before Valentine’s Day when you celebrate your love for the best ladies in your life. Jane is one of my favorite ladies – we are always laughing together. She asked to come visit as soon as she heard I got my hands on essie’s new Valentine’s Day nail polish collection for 2019.
These colors have Jane written all over them! They’ve festive and fun just like her. She always rocks a bright red polish and now she’s getting a little EXTRA with the glitter polish on top. If you’ve seen Jane on Instagram – you know she’s always a little EXTRA!
It might not surprise you Jane reached for the “#essielove” nail polish, which is a rich red, and topped it with “you’re so cupid” to add that sparkle to kick her up a notch (as if she needs that).
Being the neutral (and blush) lover that I am I reached for the “crush and blush” pink nail polish and added the “galentine” sparkle coat on just one nail on each hand. I like to be a bit more subtle but still festive.
Target carries the entire Valentine’s Day collection of essie polishes on their website. The bottles are all so adorable and festive. You can usually tell online if they carry them in store as well. I’m sharing a little color swatch of each polish below.
Do you do a festive Valentine’s Day manicure? Feel free to share a pic on my Facebook page or tag me in an Instagram story and I’ll be sure to share. You can find all the shades I mentioned in this post on Target.com.
Whatever color your nails will be – I hope you get to celebrate with your favorite Galentine as well. Jane is currently available for some more fun and laughs on February 13th but her Galentine’s day agenda is sure to fill up soon.
