Today is an exciting day as a few of my friends just launched their pieces from the Gibson Glam Holiday collection this morning. It’s SO good. You will find the collection consists of variations of sequin, velvet and animal print – all perfect elements for pieces that will be great for any upcoming holiday festivities. This will only be one of many holiday-related posts to come, but today I’ll be sharing 3 different holiday outfit ideas incorporating the newly launched Gibson collection.
I love velvet for the holidays and the material makes the blazer so warm! The top features a fun bow back detail and a slightly ruffled mock neck. It comes in 3 other solid colors, but the leopard print is the only one that has an allover shimmery metallic detail that I thought was so cute. The top also has a coordinating skirt that I showed over on stories. Here is the link for it should you want to wear it as a set. The skirt is forgiving in the pooch area so it would pair well with a black bodysuit for another holiday party outfit idea.
My jeans are described as ankle length, but these are long! I’m 5’11” and sometimes cuff them. I sized down one as this brand tends to run between sizes and I’d rather my skinny jeans be too tight than too baggy.
We are still getting situated with our move, but I made it a point to bring out some of our holiday decor. I will link what is pictured below. All of my flocked trees (I have 3, I love them so much) are from King of Christmas. You can use code PINTERESTINGPLANS on their site for a 10% discount. I linked a similar deer head and tree collar because this tree collar is actually too small for the base of my faux Christmas tree.
If you are looking for something that sparkles for a New Year’s Eve or holiday party this year, this is your dress. It’s a gorgeous subtle leopard print with allover sequins. The champagne blush color is very pretty and the fit is so so flattering as it does not cling at the midsection and you can pair this with a regular bra.
This sequin top comes in several other options – a really pretty bright holiday red and the same metallic leopard print as the bow back tank from the first outfit. I chose the champagne gold color as I thought it would be more versatile for the holidays. You can wear it untucked or tucked at the front. It looks so cute both ways and again this top does not cling at the belly and it does not require a special bra. My kind of low maintenance fancy clothes! You can pair this with the velvet blazer as well.
Stay tuned for more holiday-related posts to come. If you are already filling your holiday event calendar and need more outfit suggestions, feel free to let me know the dress code and what you might be looking for. I would love to help. Thanks for stopping by!
