After attending the ShopStyle Social House event on Saturday I met up with some other bloggers and basically socialized that afternoon. Well, that, and one of them wanted to go on a dessert tour of NYC. Sunday morning we got up early to take some pictures in Times Square before things got too hectic there. Then we walked home through side streets looking for good places to shoot pictures and grab a coffee.

This handbag is currently on loan to me from Shop Style. It’s part of Trina Turk‘s fabulous Fall handbag collection. At the Shop Style event we were gifted shoes, a bag, a scarf, and necklace and could borrow 2 more items for 1 week. I borrowed this bag and another bag that converts from a crossbody to a clutch. Both of these bags are amazing and I’ll be sad in two days when I need to ship them back to their home.
The pants come in tall sizes for those of us who need that! Can you even believe they’re on sale for around $25?! Size down one size below your usual on the pants. I am wearing the jacket in a size small and the cami in a small as well.
The Shop Style event also offered cocktails, make-up and hair touch-ups, and photo booths. It was a very fun event – but quite crowded. I’d recommend getting there early because the line to check out items took about an hour. It was fun to see big bloggers in a more relaxed setting. We got to briefly chat with Christine from Hello Fashion Blog who was sitting outside on the balcony when we arrived. After all this fun I was glad to return home to a slower life with my family….for one night! I headed back into the city on Monday for a show and the Reward Style party. More on that later…
