Cute bralettes are an essential part of my wardrobe.    I took to the trend awhile back and my collection keeps growing.   Today I’m sharing my favorite cute bralettes to elevate your Winter outfits.

My absolute favorite bralette is the Free People Adella bralette.   I have the bralette in 4 colors in size small.  The question I get most often is about the straps.   The straps are strings so they are somewhat fragile.   Of the 4 bralettes I have (and wear/wash often) I did have one strap snap.   I exchanged the bralette at Nordstrom without issue and went on to purchase another color after that.    SO MANY PEOPLE STOP ME to ask about the bralette.   Hmmmm – I guess that’s sort of a weird thing.  People stopping a mid 30’s mom to ask her about her visible lingerie.

A halter neckline is also pretty with a deep V-neck top.    I am wearing size small above but x-small would probably have worked too.

One of the prettiest bralettes I own has cap sleeves.   It sold out within a week or two of posting on Nordstrom’s website but it’s back ON SALE here.   I have size small.  I’d say it runs small.  I am normally and XS or Small and this bralettes is quite fitted on my tiny tatas.

When I’m Not Wearing a Bralette

I wear this T-shirt bra.  I mean, mom nipples are real!!   Or at least I call them that.  Maybe other moms nipples revert back after pregnancy but mine did not.   I don’t want to risk answering the door to a stranger without a bra on.   Last Fall I did an entire post about avoiding bra fit problems and I AM SHOCKED that my best fitting bra was one I ordered online.   I previously had several $20 bras that would ride up and it was SO WORTH investing a bit extra to finally get one that fits.  Shall we discuss how often we wash bras?    Ok, next time :)!
