Couples who work out together, stay together. Is that how that saying goes? If so, Chris and I are solid because we to work out together. Today I’m partnering with Jockey to share our workout outfits and 3 workouts you and your partner can do together that don’t require any equipment. That means you can do these workouts whenever, wherever. (A great option if you’re on vacation!)
Jockey has tons of great activewear basics from leggings to performance underwear and socks. They have so many options made from quick dry materials. I almost always reach for my quick dry workout wear, particularly with sports bras and workout underwear.
This hoodie is super comfy and the blush color is so pretty. It’s called the ‘Glitter Hoodie‘ because of the metallic stitching that doesn’t pick up well on camera. The shorts have the same gold “glitter” metallic stitching throughout the material. I also love that the shorts have pockets!Love the quick dry material of this tank and the fact it has a built in sports bra. A two for one!Outfit Details: Go-To Full Zip Jacket (medium, tts) // Joggers (large – sized up 1) // White V-Neck T-Shirt (medium, tts and long fit)Chris is obsessed with the joggers. I always sized up one in joggers so they have a relaxed fit and I did that with him. He’s wearing size large and standing at 6’2″, the length was perfect for him. They have zip pockets which is nice and they’re super soft. I’d recommend washing them once before wear because they shed just a bit before the first wash. Likewise, the hoodie was also a winner. Soft, true to size and good quality. I tried to order “tall” tees, but I didn’t see size medium in stock. We were pretty bummed about it, but turns out the regular tees were plenty long so Chris was very pleased with these. As for workout undergarments, he’s pretty particular about it so he will typically pay a higher price tag for them. However, he has been wearing these ones from Jockey and loves them.
Couple’s Workouts You Can Do Together – No Equipment Needed!
Chris is mocking me that my bum isn’t down low enough….that’s how our workouts often go. He corrects my form, I roll my eyes and keep doing it my way.
1. Death by Squats:
Start with one squat in the first minute, two in the second, etc etc until you fail. It starts off slow and fun and can be a fun competition. No weights or equipment needed, and can be done with any movement like pushups or even jumping jacks!
2. Traditional “You-then-Me” Workout:
Work as much as you can, as fast as you can until you’re exhausted, then your partner takes over while you rest; repeat until the workout is completed.
50 Jumping Lunges
100 Burpees
200 Crunches
300 Air Squats
3. Every Minute On the Minute (EMOM)
25 Push-Ups
25 Sit-ups
You each have one minute to finish the reps. Whatever time is left in the minute is rest time. While Partner A completes push-ups, Partner B is doing sit-ups. Switch every minute.
