Today I’m excited to join up with Walmart for their We Dress America campaign to bring you 3 spring date looks. We Dress America is all about celebrating fashion for everyone, which I love! I like bringing you fashion finds and outfit inspiration, but the cool thing about fashion is that we all can wear it in a way that works for us wherever we live. Here in Connecticut, spring can really vary from freezing to sunny and warm. So, for these date night looks, I wanted to incorporate ideas that were easy to transition through this season of change. Walmart is a great place to find versatile pieces like this at amazing prices.

Fun & Flirty

First up, let’s do a fun, casual look.  This is perfect for a daytime date or a casual night out.  On the bottom, I’m wearing white distressed shorts, which I love because you can style them a ton of ways. I really like this pair because they are on the longer side without being matronly. Mama needs a little coverage!  Typically I like to size up one size in shorts to avoid them looking too tight, but I didn’t in these and they fit fine.

I contrasted my white denim by pairing it with this super cute light wash jean jacket on top. If you’re looking for a cute jean jacket for spring I LOVE this one.  I’ve had so many people ask me where it’s from because the wash and fit are PERFECT!!

Underneath I wanted to add something a little more flirty so I opted for this pink peplum top.  It fits true to size.  I’m typically an xs, but got a small because they were out of xs, and the small ended up being just a tad big on me.

I adore these sandals and they are a serious steal for under $20!  While I could wear this look with some cute sneakers, I think the sandals elevate the look just a little bit more to make it date night appropriate!  Also, these oversized tortoise sunglasses are only $5!!

The Dressed-up Dinner Date

Ok, let’s look at a more dressed up look. Maybe your man is taking you out to wine and dine you (maybe I’m dropping some hints for my hubs), and you want something that looks a bit more dressy. This dress is super cute and such an amazing price point. The nice thing about this dress is you could definitely wear it casual, but it can also be dressed up.

To elevate this look to date night, I paired it with these super cute sandals (which fit true to size.) I love how these sandals make the dress a bit more sexy.  These sandals look almost exactly like a similar pair I have that I paid 6 times as much for!  EEEK!!   The tassels also look great with the tassel trim on this crossbody bag.

And, since the spring weather is unpredictable, a jacket is great to have on hand.

Dressed Up Leggings

Any time I can sneak in leggings it’s a great outfit.  I love these gray leggings because they actually look like jeans, so they are easy to dress up. They have the feel and weight of a legging though, so don’t confuse them with true skinnies! They are super comfy and an amazing price.  Colors are going in and out of stock fast!  I’m wearing XS for reference.

To dress these leggings up a little I paired it with a white jean jacket which has a figure flattering cut. I was very impressed with this jacket! I’d suggest you size up if you’re in between sizes for this jacket. Underneath, I just put on a simple tank. This one is on the larger size, but I love how it’s longer in the back. I’m not sure where you stand on the issue of “leggings are pants”, but longer tops always pair well with leggings in my book.

Once again, I’m wearing those awesome strappy block heel sandals. I love how they dress up this look, too!
