The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is so huge I make sure to go in with a strategy.   I assess what I have already and what I will need for the Fall.   While I grab a few home and kids items as well today I’m sharing my personal top 12 buys from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.   As a “fashion blogger” (using the term loosely) I buy more than I need.   You can see my try-on post (which I will update after I grab some more items in store today).

Top 12 Buys From The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale

1. Wit and Wisdom Ab-Solution Skinny Jeans

If you’re in need of a basic pair of great fitting skinny jeans these jeans fit the bill.   They have a lot of stretch and are a mid-rise so they’re a great everyday fit.   I often size down in this brand but I did not in this pair.   My advice if you’re on the fence about sizing on any items is to order both sizes.   Items sell out so quickly during the anniversary sale you’re likely to miss you size if you end up watching to exchange later on.

2. Vince Camuto Movinta Bootie

These booties are the perfect Fall color with a manageable heel.   I will mostly wear these with denim and legging/tunic pairings but they’d also be cute styled with dresses.

3. Eyelash Serum

I have been using a lash serum for about 1.5 years and it’s made my lashes so much longer and thicker.   While the serums are a bit pricy they’re a great alternative to expensive (and sometimes damaging) lash extensions.

4. Sam Edelman Caprise Knee High Boot

Over the knee boots have been all the rage the last few years but last Fall knee high options started regaining popularity.   I noticed while scrolling the sale there were very few pairs of over the knee boots this year.  I love the light color of these Sam Edelman Caprise boots.   While I won’t be wearing these for a couple months they’re $75 off right now so I couldn’t resist getting them ahead of season.

5. Zella Street Style High Waist Leggings

Am I the only one who feels like there are very few middle of the road leggings?  Lululemon leggings are $100/pair and Old Navy is $30 – but there aren’t many brands in between that I’m familiar with.   So anyway – Zella is no quite as pricy as LuLuLemon but the quality is GREAT!   I was drawn to the color of these leggings – and just that they’re leggings!!   The basic “live-in” leggings are also marked down to only $35!

6. Nardi Round Cubic Zirconia Stud Earrings 

I grabbed these earrings last year during the sale and I wear them almost everyday.   They’re a great piece of everyday jewelry.

7. Panacea Necklace Double Drusy Necklace

I have several pieces of Panacea jewelry and I think the quality is so great for the price.   The pieces are all unique and make a statement.   This double druzy necklace is a great way to dress up a plain tee or tunic paired with leggings.

8. Leith Metal Handle Faux Leather Tote

This bag is such a great neutral and I love the handle.   Can’t beat the price- under $40!!

9. Barefoot Dreams Cardigan

I actually own 2 Barefoot Dreams cardigans and they last FOREVER so I did not purchase another one this year.   I grabbed the “sand” color circle cardigan last year and I recommend it as a top buy because these cardigans are SO SOFT and wash so well.   They are a bit pricey so the sale is a great time to make a home for one in your closet.   Last year the Barefoot Dreams circle cardigan I purchased sold out in the first day of early access to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

10. Leith Ribbed Shawl Cardigan

Every season Leith offers a new cardigan that seems to become the most popular staple.  I grabbed this cardigan in pink in XS.   If you’re between sizes consider sizing down.

11. Thread and Supply Brando Fleece Jacket 

I grabbed one of these fleece jackets last year and it’s so cuddly it becomes a live-in item.   These jackets are SUPER popular and normally sell out at full price.

12. Socialite Thermal Henley

This top is so soft it can be worn running errands or even as pajamas.   I have the size small and I love the dusty pink color.  It pairs well with a bralette and I loved it so much I purchased a camo option as well.
