Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is Nordstrom‘s biggest annual sale where new PREseason items are majorly discounted.   Most of the time sales happen at the end of the season on items that are about to go out of use for changing temperatures.   That’s one of the things that makes this sale so much better!   You can nail down most of your Fall wardrobe basics for about 40% off!

When does the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018 start?

Thursday, July 12th is the start date for “Early Access” to the sale.   Early Access is for cardholders only.   This is actually the reason I originally signed up for a Nordstrom card several years ago.    The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to the public a week later on Friday July 20th but from past experience almost all the popular items are sold out by the time public access begins.  If you want to shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale “Early Access” you can quickly apply for a card on their website.

What are the popular items at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2018?

Last year the most popular items were:

• AG legging jeans
• Leith Suede moto jacket
• Leith circle cardigan
• Vince Camuto Suede Booties
• Lush raw edge tee shirt
• Ruffle sleeve t-shirt dress

Rarely on sale items to watch for…

Some things you may have wanting to invest in that are often gone quickly include:

• Barefoot Dreams sweaters
• T3 hair tools
• Black NYC moto jackets
• Zella leggings

From my past experience, these are items that often sell out the very first day of the sale!   Last year I grabbed this Barefoot Dreams cardigan for $78.   I HIGHLY recommend this brand and feel it’s worth the splurge.   Apparently, a lot of people feel the same way because the cardigan sold out DAY 1 of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale last year.

There are a lot of EXCLUSIVE release items that brands put out just for the sale.   Particularly with beauty – there will be some new palettes and beauty sets as well as big discounts on high priced tools like this home Microderm tool I grabbed last year during the sale.

Watch for Nordstrom Sale Alerts!
