Today I’m partnering with Maurice’s to share some winter transition outfits. We recently came down to do a bit of work on a short term rental home we purchased in Florida and winter is quite different down there. With no snow or slush to trek through my fashion choices have been quite different in Florida than they are back in Connecticut. This “winter” feels more like “spring” to this native New Englander.
The older I get the colder I get! Anyone else? After my Dad passed away in April we started to consider moving to a warmer climate year round. The thought of selling the home we LOVE (and just renovated) and being so far from family and friends is pretty scary but I also am not someone who likes to look back with regret that I shied away from my fear.
So we will see what happens but I would not be too sad to put my snow gear into storage to use it for vacations only. Which brings me to a few more outfits that can transition well from winter to spring (sooner or later depending on your climate).
The graphic tee says “I don’t winter well” and ain’t that the truth ?❄️. maurice’s is having a huge semi-annual sale and it’s only $8! No need to size up for extra room for cozy socks in these boots. They are also on sale and just under $25.

This babydoll dress is a one and done outfit! Perfect for places that have warm winters or save it for later as a spring transition dress. It’s comfy and cute and room for a little food baby.

The jeans stretch a bit with wear. They aren’t skin tight, but slim fitting with great distressing. The pullover is warm and cute – and neutral, my fav ??
